Behind my ambition to study and play volleyball in the United States is the family that makes home my starting point.
My mom is a physiotherapist at Fysiolab. She is part of the support system behind my next chapter.

My dad is the founder & COO of Apixa. As I look toward the United States, his support is part of the foundation I take with me.

Emma, 14, and Janne, 12, both play volleyball too. Last season all three of us reached the Limburg Cup final, and Emma and I played together on the U17 team at VC Greenyard Maaseik. This season Emma plays for LVT As in National 3.
Our dog Pixie and our cats Boris and Puck complete the family. They are a little piece of home beyond the court and classroom.
Fien’s goal: studying in the United States in 2028,
with the opportunity to compete in college volleyball.
